A sustainable and low-consumption website
"Digital technology takes up a considerable share of energy consumption, and that's not just a matter of image! With a view to reducing the energy consumption linked to storing our web pages on servers and the viewing of those web pages by users, we have adopted an approach that aims to minimize the size of the data they contain. Consequently, the photos presented on our website are all processed with a reduced number of pixels and the videos are selected according to a limited usage target. We have opted for simple and streamlined designs. In addition, in the development and coding of this website, we have opted to limit the flow of data between the website and the servers that host it. Lastly, the user paths have been optimized, the content such as news and press releases appear for a duration limited to: 6 months."

La note Greenoco mesure la performance environnementale des sites internet, et leur attribue une note allant de A (bonnes performances, représentant les 15% les plus vertueux) à G (mauvaises performances, pour les 15% les moins vertueux).
La notation est calculée à partir de plusieurs critères
- Poids des données transférées et utilisation de la bande passante (en Ko)
- Nombre de requêtes HTTPS
- Audience annuelle de chaque page
- PUE de l’hébergeur du site
- Pays d’hébergement du data center, et intensité carbone du mix énergétique du pays.

L’outil Greenoco est disponible en ligne sur app.greenoco.io, tout le monde peut donc l’utiliser. Les notations obtenues peuvent être différentes selon les pages, les scores affichés prenant en compte des données confidentielles de pondération d’audience de chaque page.
