Accessibility

This page outlines our commitments with respect to digital accessibility and sets out this website's level of compliance with the applicable regulations and frames of reference.

What is digital accessibility?

Digital accessibility is a set of rules and best practices that cover the functional, graphic, technical, and editorial aspects of digital content.
Compliance with those rules and best practices offers a way to ensure that digital material (websites, mobile apps, PDF documents, etc.) are accessible for people with disabilities.
For example, an accessible website makes it possible to do the following:

  • Customize the displayed content via the operating system and/or the web browser (increase or decrease the size of the characters, change the font type, modify the color scheme, stop the movement of animated graphics, etc.)
  • Browse through the content by means of user-assistance technologies, such as a read-aloud feature or a Braille pad.
  • Browse through the content without using a mouse, e.g. only the keyboard, or with a touch pad or touch screen.
  • Access videos and audio content with subtitles and/or transcriptions,
  • Etc.

Digital accessibility commitments

RATP Connect is committed to making its websites (Internet, intranet, and extranet), its mobile apps, its business software, and its digital street furniture accessible in compliance with article 47 of French law no. 2005-102 of February 11, 2005. For the best possible results, digital accessibility is taken into account by all our teams (functional and graphic design, development, contribution, etc.) throughout the process of building and maintaining our websites. Those same teams are assisted by Ideance, a firm that specializes in digital accessibility, as well as other experts in the field who provide

  • Advice and acceptance testing throughout the process of producing digital content.
  • Audit of compliance with the RGAA (General Frame of Reference for Improved Accessibility).
  • Support with the drafting of legal documents, such as the statement of compliance with the RGAA.

Statement of non-compliance with the RGAA

State of compliance

This website is only partially compliant with the RGAA (General Frame of Reference for Improved Accessibility) - version 4.1.2 because of the instances of non-compliance listed below.

Result of testing

The audit of compliance with the RGAA version 4.1.2 conducted in February 2024 by the specialist firm Ideance showed the following results in the tested sample:

  • The overall compliance rate was 94%. This score was calculated by dividing the number of compliant criteria by the number of applicable criteria.
  • The average compliance rate was found to be 94.1%. This score was obtained by calculating the average of the rates of compliance of each page.

The other websites or applications published by RATP Connect are governed by their own legal notices and conditions of use.

Non-accessible content

List of non-compliant criteria:

  • 8.9 The main browsing marker is empty and present in the source code when the main browsing menu is closed on a mobile device.
  • 10.11 The content is not entirely legible in a window with a width of 320px. Notably, this is the case for the écoindex score, as well as some text on the "Legal notice" page and the "Legal notice" link at the bottom of the page.
  • 10.12 Some text spacing parameters cannot be adjusted without the loss of some content or functionality for the text in the "écoindex" inset and the text in the "The power and reliability of the RATP Connect network" inset.

"The ""CookieBot"" cookies manager and the ""Cloudflare"" security system are exempt. As such, they were not subject to a comprehensive and detailed audit. However, it was verified that their presence did not hinder the use and viewing of the rest of the website."
